Australian Vocational Skills & Education (AVSE-TESOL) is seeking ‘Gap Year’ students willing to undertake the Certificate IV in TESOL (Australian Government accredited) with us (4-weeks) with a guaranteed paid-English teaching job at the end. We’re looking for people who are over 21 years of age, have completed High School studies and have solid English language skills.

The fee to enrol in the TESOL/TEFL course in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City or Phnom Penh includes complimentary accommodation for the 4-weeks it takes to complete the course. Staff from AVSE-TESOL will even collect you from the airport.

When you’ve finished the 4-week Certificate IV in TESOL program at AVSE-TESOL we’ll get working as a paid-English language teacher in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Phnom Penh or elsewhere if you’d prefer.

The salary range for new TESOL/TEFL qualified teachers in Vietnam and Cambodia is between US $15.00 to US $25.00 per hour, depending on work location and experience. Most English language teachers in this part of the world work 20 to 30 hours a week and manage to save (after meeting all living expenses) between US $500.00 to US $1,000.00 a month without cutting corners.
