Teaching Practice (12-Hour Practicum)
The Online TESOL Course includes a 12-hour teaching practicum designed to help you put theory into practice and build real classroom confidence. During the practicum, you will plan lessons, teach, reflect, and improve with guidance from your designated AVSE TESOL trainer.
As part of the course, you are responsible for arranging your own practicum placement. All practicum arrangements must be approved by your AVSE trainer before the practicum begins.
Your trainer will support you throughout the practicum, assist with lesson planning and materials, and confirm the evidence required to successfully complete this component of the Certificate IV in TESOL.

Eligibility
Online TESOL at AVSE is suitable for motivated, professionally minded people who are passionate about the English language — and about teaching and learning. To enrol and complete the course successfully, you’ll need to meet a few practical requirements.
A university degree is not a core requirement to enrol in AVSE’s Online TESOL course.
