Arguably the best known Australian city, Sydney is a fantastic place to be a student. With great transport links for exploring the rest of Australia and with the enormous amount of culture and entertainment on offer within the city itself, Sydney is a very desirable location indeed.
Some of the famous landmarks to visit include the Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge, as well as Bondi Beach and the Royal Botanic Gardens. Music and the arts thrive here and the restaurant scene is certainly one of the best in the country, particularly around ‘The Rocks’ area. Sydney is also a brilliant place to try your hand at sports of all kinds from golf and surfing through to yacht racing and rugby. If Melbourne is Australia’s cultural capital then Sydney is where the action is.
