Vietnam visa on arrival…
With a booming economy coupled with more than 60% of the population being under 35 years of age, there is unrelenting demand in Vietnam for English language training. This directly translates into well-paid English teaching jobs for people with advanced English language skills. Until recent times, the process to obtain a visa to enter Vietnam with the view of landing a job teaching English was daunting to say the least. Fortunately, this has all changed. An alliance between Australia-Vietnam Skills & Education (AVSE-TESOL) in Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam-visa.com – the Vietnam visa on arrival experts, has cut through the red tape.
The Australian Government accredited and internationally recognized TESOL TEFL program offered by AVSE-TESOL in Ho Chi Minh City provides you with the necessary knowledge and skillset to effectively teach English as a second language in Vietnam and other countries. Once you have decided to enroll in the TESOL TEFL program at AVSE-TESOL in Ho Chi Minh City, you will then have to turn your mind to obtaining the right visa to enter and remain in Vietnam, to pursue your teaching dream. This is where Vietnam-visa.com can help.
Alliance between AVSE-TESOL & Vietnam-visa.com
AVSE-TESOL and Vietnam-visa.com have forged an alliance that will allow our TESOL TEFL trainees to obtain a visa to enter Vietnam when they arrive at Tan Son Nhat International Airport f(Ho Chi Minh City), Noi Bai International Airport (Hanoi) or Danang International Airport (Danang). The alliance between AVSE-TESOL and Vietnam-visa.com means that our TESOL TEFL trainees can obtain a visa at a fraction of the cost of sending your passport and a money-order to a government agency and then sitting around waiting for your documentation to arrive by ‘snail-mail’.
The AVSE-TESOL / Vietnam-visa.com initiative allows our TESOL TEFL students to obtain their Vietnam visa documents with 4 easy steps that collectively take about 10 minutes from anywhere there is a computer with internet access. Once you have completed the 4 steps, you will have your official visa on arrival letter sent to you by email within 2 working days – a very simple and secure process. Here are the 4 steps:
STEP 1: Fill out the secure online application form
Enter your details in a secure form on the Vietnam-visa.com website, exactly as they are recorded in your passport. The ‘Apply Now: Vietnam Visa on arrival’ tab on this page (see above) will take you directly to the Vietnam-visa.com website and the visa application form you need.
STEP 2: Pay the visa fee
Double check that you have entered your information in the secure, online form exactly as it appears in your passport. Click the ‘process my visa now’ button and pay the visa fee. Payment methods include: Credit / Debit Card (via OnePay or PayPal) or cash via Western Union.
STEP 3: Receive your pre-approval letter for your visa on arrival
Within 1-2 working days, Vietnam-visa.com will send you an email to your nominated email address containing a visa on arrival pre-approval letter. In addition to a pre-approval letter, the email from Vietnam-visa.com will contain helpful information about having your visa entered into your passport when you arrive in Vietnam. You should print the letter you receive from Vietnam-visa.com and keep it in a safe place. You will need to present the letter to immigration authorities when you arrive in Vietnam – see Step 4.
Before you arrive at your point of entry to Vietnam, ensure you have the following readily available to present to immigration authorities:
- printed version of the visa on arrival, pre-approval letter
- passport-size photos x 2
- the exact fee in US dollars payable to immigration authorities at your point of entry, to cover the government fee (dependent on the type of visa) for the visa on arrival service. You will be advised by Vietnam-visa.com (Step 3) about how much you will have to pay
Step 4: Your visa will be entered in your passport
When you arrive at your point of entry to Vietnam, you should proceed to the visa on arrival desk with all the requirements outlined in in Step 3. Your visa to enter Vietnam will be stamped in your passport by an immigration official.
Remember, you can access Vietnam-visa.com and the form you need to complete to obtain a visa on arrival by hitting any one of the ‘Apply Now: Vietnam Visa on arrival’ tabs on this page.
